Users review: The story of how World War Z was made more harrowing and suspenseful than the movie itself. After just going over budget and be filled a full review and draw a picture of the Final Act was not established exactly for WWZ success. Finally, the film is completely forgettable and rugged, but not offensively bad or terrible goal in every sense. What struck me was how much of an opportunity lost was, considering how interesting and fun source material is.Having read the book World War Z, I would say the trailer for this movie, pre, CSI would be a faithful adaptation. I thought the most interesting aspects of the book was to explore how the zombie plague hit the social and political structures in the world. Something similar is completely ignored in the film, but I can understand, at least the way filmmakers thought would work items in one feature film. What I can not understand is how it seems that filmmakers have ignored the most obvious cinematic content of books. The book contains a lot SETPIECE action scenes, and to be fair, many of which involve large cities in the world to fall to the zombie attack and the movie makes enough to cover it. But books huge battle scene - holding meat War zombie, including the Battle of Yonkers, nuclear war between Pakistan and Iran, the Chinese civil war and the fight against massive zombie training - are completely absent. I was very surprised that they do not cover it, especially the scene Yonkers because obviously would fit so well in a movie, and the script, even as it is now, it could easily be tweaked to include or at least mention. Action in this video is very unsatisfactory and obscure due to limitations PG-13 rating, and the story around it is not interesting enough to get me really invested in it.I was also surprised by how cheap the film watched. This film has cost hundreds of millions of dollars to make, but it's hard to see how it went on display. Swarms of zombies look very fake and threatening, and in some cases, individual zombies are animated by computer, which gave me bad flashbacks to I Am Legends terrible CGI overload. Apart from the opening scenes of Philadelphia and Jerusalem means the act, there is no set great outdoors. An air base in South Korea is portrayed as a series of dark rooms, too much of the film foregåri an airline seat, and there are plenty inside carrier, etc sense of scale is very inconsistent and this is emphasized in the final act strangely, that was obviously the focus of reshoots infamous because it feels like a completely separate film. I consider the patient viewer, but this scene very long and boring began to bring me down for a while, and my little patient audience finally fell completely sync with the movie and started to make fun of it every apartment - not really a fair criticism of the film, but they have a real problem when it can not hold an audience's attention. Final measure is actually an interesting idea at its heart, but one that definitely does not connect with anything in the book, but I really do not think it was a well done concept. Very different style and tone of these scenes makes you feel like a completely different movie.Again while there was nothing terrible about WWZ all, I do not think it was something to get excited about. In other words, a perfect five tenths films. I wish they were more aware of potential source materials because without the best and most cinematic aspects of the book, WWZ (film) and WWZ (book) only share the title and the central premise of a zombie plague which is not itself a new idea. |
