| Users review: 'American, written and directed by Guy Ritchie is by far one of my favorite movies of all time? it is easy in my personal Top Thirty. In this film, about (what else?) Some programs that happens to go very badly but managed to intertwine and (for better or worse) eventually resolve themselves, Ritchie assemble one of the funniest characters the player in recent memory. Let's see if we can keep this straight: Turkish (Jason Statham) and his partner Tommy (Stephen Graham) is an amateur boxing promoter who, after fighting their main wounded, he had to get instead of war, or one of the most violent in London, Brick Top (Alan Ford), who happens to run a boxing match and stand to make a lot of money out of the race to offer a unique product to the right over them. Enter Mickey (Brad Pitt) is a gypsy who knocked them out of the fight, which is drunk enough to understand right hook. Meanwhile, there is a diamond the size of a fist 'has been stolen by Franky four fingers (Benicio Del Toro). On the way back from London to the U.S. where he plans to fence the diamonds, the problem occurs later, and fence his Cousin Avi (Dennis Farina) is forced to come to London to get both Franky and the diamond with the help of characters such as Bullet Tooth Tony (Vinnie Jones) and Doug 'Great Denovitz (Mike Reid). Of course, this does not happen easily, because there are a trio of thieves appropriately on the choice of a diamond along with my personal favorite character in the film, Boris Yurinov `Blade (Rade Serbedzija)? or as he's known, 'Boris Bullet Dodger. Did you get all that? performances by actors all over, and a few more that I did not even mention all the good, especially Brad Pitts. Every single actor in `The American looks like them and one hell of a good time working on this film. This story, while complex and as a result much of the plot of the base is quite brilliant and very enjoyable. There are many one-liners that I personally still use four years after I first saw this film, and weaving complex characters tell the story of the theft is very easy just so beautiful. 'American will be a great movie because the story itself, but the direction of Guy Ritchies so dead, this film goes beyond brilliant and that FAN-insert expletive of your choice here-tastic. Distributed slick, lightning fast-paced and fun camera angle is right on target with the story. Add up the great soundtrack that includes Oasis, techno and traditional sounding Hasidic songs and Ritchie presented the viewer with an instant classic. While this is not the first time I saw the movie 'The American, was the first time Id watch the movie to know that I have to analyze it a little bit for directing my attention to the film becomes just' Phenomenal! for 'Phenomenal for? .. While I definitely have a group of shameless Madonna fan, and have been for the past two decades, I truly hope that Ritchie had decided to quit his job from the film and does not continue on the road 'have taken off, more precisely, to get back to work that has earned him well deserve high praise. Turkish and his close friend / accomplice Tommy retreated into the world of match fixing by the notorious Brick Top. Things get complicated when the boxer they get beat Pitt built a Pikey (slang for an Irish Gypsy) - who comes into the equation after Turkish, an unlicensed boxing promoter wants a caravan of gypsies to buy Irish. They then try to convince Pitt not only to fight for them, but to lose for them. While all this was going on, a huge diamond heist takes place, and a handful of colorful characters in the story, including Cousin Avi, Boris the Blade, Franky Four fingers and Bullet Tooth Tony. Things go from bad to worse, as it will all be about money, weapons, and damn dog!
