| Users review: Mummy is an adventure yarn in the style of Indiana Jones. It is very cute, charming, and never try to be what it is. What is it? Entertaining summer movie that is not only rewarding, but perhaps even possess. Its one of those great movies you can return to again and again and never get tired of doing so.Its barely a remake of the Universal classic of the same name. It is just a new way to tell the story of the same basic idea - a murderous mummy is brought back from the dead. This time we have the hero and heroine of the line of the world domination.The hero has to stop him before he takes the world, or Rick (Brendan Fraser), a thief blooming from the bottom of his in Egypt around 1930 , Nelle something. Calm, but ironic and sarcastic humor, cool, but a strong lead. I wondered what it would be like if he was cast in the role that it all might be. Taken more seriously actress I bet the results would have been disastrous. Fraser knows this is all good fun, and hes fun to play his role in the comedy. Every once and a while you can catch the nod on the screen to tell us that he knows what hes doing.2001 released a sequel called Mummy, everything Mummy Returns. I loved it as much as this film, even though some critics begged to differ. The summer of 2002 brought yet another Mummy movie, this prequel called The Scorpion King - following the co-star was the first decline. Mummy did not have it at all. It was a terrible movie that was not so nice neighborhood like this. So I recommend you to Mummy as possible as quickly as possible. Then Mummy Returns.Either to see the way, you just can not go wrong. |
