| Users review: I will start with this ... I love the movie. Why? Its true what so many say, it's just incredibly entertaining and just so fun! That's really what it comes down to. The only other movies ive seen the O Russell and Silver Linings Playbook Fighter. The former I thought fairly formulaic if any, and the second I think is great, although still somewhat formulaic. Russell shows a different kind of energy here that I hadnt seen in two films, and it shows that it has a vision more clearly than I would have imagined. The plot here is very messy and sometimes hard to follow, but what keeps endlessly interesting being thrown and many scenes person who can not work entirely on their own own. This should not be how film works, and it is surprising that the film is as great as it is because it really is all over the place sometimes. But it works.There many fine performances here, but the one best Bradley Cooper. Who would have thought two years Ola could hangover jerk-looking guy actually function, but wait, it could actually be a very likeable screen presence and brings many film from so many of his fellow stars! Thats what it does. He launched a kind of energy here that it reaches the PlayBook and take away most of his scenes. The other similar Cooper Lawrence, whos also have a blast with all of this. Its like someone let these two come up with their own thing and werent given rules to go by. Theres spontaneously to them and the whole film really, and it paid off tremendously. They both benefit from some of the funniest material. Bale is great, is convened as and when expected, but to me, Amy Adams fits more. In the past, always throws a hit-or-miss for me, but after impressive work in the Masters last year and now this, she has become someone I'm actually just as much. Jeremy Renner far less screen time than the other four, but nails his role was limited screen time. In short, these five strongest ensemble formed in 2013 was unlikely to be challenged by any other cast. Thats pretty much what the film comes down to success. Its cast (and I did not even mention all the other great supporting turn) make this a roaring good time. You may not have feelings or gravity as Slave or movies like 12 Years Gravity has, but he can only improve as a movie experience more accessible. |
