Its kinetic piece of pop culture for the new millennium (and the case may be, was a film that was invented for CGI). As a fan of Frank Miller for more than 25 years, I know his work and know that Sin City? Sin City and will knock your socks if you are a fan or a novice dark pleasures your imagination diabolical and brutal style. Exceeding my expectations on every level, this film is rated as one of the most pleasant experience of going to the movies Ive had years.Everything works here. Rodriguez camera and editing to smooth direction (no easy task when you consider, along with director Robert Miller and Quentin Tarantino joined the mix as special guest director), in-place casting. The script gives Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen and Benicio Del Toro ample opportunity to chew the scenery? and do about Rourke, who despite their cup buried under a thick layer of latex horrible, offers one of the best performances of his career and steals the show as Marv, a giant criminal inconsolable. Ladies hold their own as well. Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Brittany Murphy and Jaime King are great in their roles, especially Dawson as a machine gun control dominatrix / prostitute fairy godmother Gail. And the glory of Elijah Wood (demonstrating that life after the hobbits) and Nick Stahl, which provide contrasting performances as heinous villains, Kevin ultra-scary and disgusting bastard yellow, respectively. Sin City is a smart, stylish, sexy and sick. Its also funny and violent. Definitely not a film for the whole family, but for those of us who love our movies Rated R, this movie kicks the head and intestines, as mule.Heres hope that Sin City is mint, because there are 10,000 apartments of nude (sinful) of the city, and it is only a handful of them.
